Michael Metro, MD is recognized leader in urethral reconstructive surgery for urethral strictures, complex Peyronie’s disease and gender affirming surgery. Respected for his knowledge in the industry, Dr. Metro has authored and co-authored peer-reviewed journal articles on the subjects of impotence, urethral strictures and urologic trauma. He has written book chapters about surgery for renal, ureteral, and urethral traumas, urethral stricture disease and reconstruction for major genital skin loss. Dr. Metro, who has been recognized by Philadelphia magazine as a Top Doctor for Urology for the last five years, is asked to make presentations at meetings all over the world concerning erectile dysfunction, urethral reconstruction and urologic trauma.
