Temple Lung Center: Advancing Research in COPD

The Temple Lung Center is one of the world’s largest COPD research centers, and has demonstrated its commitment to offer innovative therapies to patients by applying research breakthroughs to clinical care.

COPD is a complex, progressive disease that often requires a combination of therapies to manage symptoms effectively. The Lung Center is currently enrolling patients in a wide variety of clinical trials investigating promising therapies aimed at improving lung function, quality of life, and long-term health outcomes for individuals with moderate to severe COPD.

Many of these trials focus on treatments that could offer relief to patients for whom conventional therapies may no longer be sufficient.

The chart below showcases clinical trials currently or soon to be enrolling, along with a triage map to outline what study might fit best for which patient. Patients can be evaluated at any of our clinical site locations, and additional site locations can be found at clinicaltrials.gov. Participating in a clinical trial provides patients with access to breakthrough care that is fully integrated with the support of our multidisciplinary COPD care team.
